Alerted, assessed and guided clients on which works to acquire and which to avoid at major international Design galleries, fairs and auctions. Jeremy Morrison attends all such events in London, New York, Paris, Basel and elsewhere.

Strategically placed and overseen the sale of works, from single objects to entire collections, in optimum auctions in London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong on behalf of private collectors, at substantially beneficial consignment terms.

Arranged and brokered the confidential private sales of significant and important historic works between anonymous private collectors based in Europe, North American and Asia.

Sourced and commissioned contemporary design pieces directly from leading designers and their studios, as well as through their representative galleries, on behalf of private clients. Working directly with the client or their interior designer, Morrison Modern has advised and overseen delivery of bespoke and luxury design by pre-eminent designers and craftsmen for homes across the world, including Hong Kong, Seoul, St Tropez, Gstaad, Miami and the Hamptons.

Undertaken strategic reviews of existing collections and given guidance on authenticity, overseen selective collection refinements and provided detailed object files for inventory and insurance purposes.

Advised prominent international museums on both acquisitions and de-accessioning of works and also handled the loan of works from private collections to international museum exhibitions.
Since 2020 Morrison Modern Advisory has overseen the sale and guided the acquisition of numerous works by current market-leading designers including Frances-Xavier & Claude Lalanne, Diego Giacometti and
Jean Royère, as well as varied masterworks by some of the most influential and desirable designers
of the last 150 years such as Josef Hoffmann, Marc Newson, Wendell Castle, Joaquim Tenreiro,
Gio Ponti, Jean Michel Frank and Georges Jouve.

Expertise & Experience
After 23 years with the worlds' two largest auction houses Jeremy Morrison founded
Morrison Modern Advisory in 2020 to assist private clients, collectors and institutions.
Jeremy was Head of the Design department at Sotheby's in London for ten years before joining Christie’s in 2012 where he became European Head and International Director of Design.
Jeremy has over 25 years of unique experience in examining, assessing, valuing and selling Design at the highest level. Having lectured, auctioneered and travelled globally throughout that time Jeremy is an internationally-recognised Design expert with a deep understanding of the global Design Market, from Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, to mid-century, Post War & Contemporary Design. He has a world-class network of relationships with private clients, collectors, curators and contacts internationally, throughout Europe, the USA and Asia.
